I also heard about the pay cut. But you know as much as I loved Stuart, I’d rather them cut the character than for us to love David Canary completely over a money dispute.
I’m really enjoying DC’s portrayal of Adam after Stuart’s death as well. Can’t wait to find out why he’s so into Annie.
Stuart will be missed tho, big time! He may not have gotten a lotta airtime but whenever he graced the screen I was happy to see him!

Hi Chris,
I had read speculation about that as well.
But Stuart hasn’t had a great deal of airtime in the past few years that I’m not sure the extra pay would have made that big of a difference.
But it could be. I just don’t know.
It’s just such a shame because Stuart was such a beloved character.

Times being tough, Canary was asked to take a pay cut. He agreed but said he would no longer play a dual role.

I agree. What was AMC thinking when they killed off Stewart? Normally GH ticks me off for getting rid of veterans, but this takes the cake!
