I agree, the one part of this storyline I could do without is the Ethan element. I don’t understand why the show couldn’t have written Ethan in as the person who found Kristina and left it at that. Why did he have to leave bruises on her arm just to propel the idea that he attacked her? And of course we know what the DNA results will be. It is plausible that an abuse victim would protect her abuser but why couldn’t Kristina have just said she didn’t know who attacked her because he had his face covered or something?

Hi SallyV!
I can totally relate to only reading the show’s synopsis, because all this week I FF’d thru most of it – and I thought ’so why am I watching this?’
But yet it’s sad to me since I’ve been watching since the first year the show came on. So it is very hard for me to quit because of the past history, although most of it is unrecognizable.
And I don’t even want to go there with the possible Kelly/Todd thing…..Ugh!

I quit watching this show the Friday Gigi was standing on the ice holding Sierra Rose. I no longer recognized any of the characters I once loved. I just couldn’t endure watching the dreck any longer, and you know what? I haven’t missed watching at all. I still read commentary on the show and I stand by my decision to quit watching. There are some SL’s I thought I would like to watch (Kelly’s return), but if they are thowing Kelly into Todd’s orbit, I’m glad I’m not watchig.

BTW, Moe and Noelle are two of the worst characters on this show…IMHO.

Hi Nanci,
ITA about Sonny. I can’t stand the way he rationalizes the shooting by saying that if he knew Dante was his son that he wouldn’t have shot him….But the point is that he shouldn’t have shot an unarmed detective to begin with. I loved yesterday’s show, when Patrick Drake told Sonny as much.
And I so hope that Dante and Jax bring Sonny down, but somehow I don’t think it will happen.

If you know me you know my answer. There is no one on soaps worse than sonny. He is a selfish egotistical immoral killer. My feelings were always of abhorrence and now since he shot an unarmed policeman point blank in the chest I find him inhuman as well as a sniveling coward.
He is self centered and the worst parent on soaps since he puts his needs ahead of the safety and peace of mind of his children. Even the cold blooded killer Jason Morgan will not put his son in danger and JM has been described as being brain dead and a robot and he has more real feelings for his son than sonny for his brood.
He is despicable and dishonorable and deserves to be brought down by Dante and Jax. His 2 worst enemies.

I agree with you that they are both pretty bad. Both have done – and continue to do – really awful things…But they do keep us watching!

Alright – they are both pretty bad. Todd sold his own son (not knowing it was his son of course) and Sonny shot his own son (once again, not knowing) – Wow, did I mention I love soaps? They can get away with anything. Anywho – I’m going with Todd. At least Sonny shows remorse and people that “know him” think he is a good person. Todd is just plain awful – entertaining for sure.. but awful!

Ah! Good observation, Paula! I didn’t think about that until now that you bring it up.

JJ and KS did have a nice rapport between them that might have made a nice couple at another point in time.

But ITA, that I don’t want Spinelli hurt again.

They both have their pros and cons as far as their misdeeds go.

But both Todd and Sonny at least have redeeming qualities.

They both love their kids above all else and would never intentionally harm their children.

Mitch Laurence, on the other hand, has NO redeeming qualities.

Mitch holds the title of the evilest of the evil. No one beats him out.
