Anything that the actors from Guiding Light touches turns to gold–too bad CBS didn’t see that in order to keep the show on the air. History was taken from us and television when they axed the oldest show on television.

I agree about the Marty rape s/l…It was so disturbing and so graphic, that it was really hard to get past as far as RH’s Todd goes.
Good idea about wanting TSJ to go to GH. That would be interesting!

When I look at RH I see the Marty rape s/l I stopped watching after that and didn’t watch agIn until yens later and TSJ was in the role I loved him as Todd but he could make you really dislike him also. He is a wonderful actor I’ll miss him and I didn’t miss RH at all.
I want TSJ to go to GH and become involved with EW and yes still love Liason. BH needs a real actor who actually looks like an adult as her on screen partner–sorry JJ ten yrs from now you’ll appreciate that you still look 25.
I’m so glad I missed the killing off of TSJ it was another dumb ABC move.

Yes, Shadow! I totally agree about the long-winded explanation….At the end of it, I thought – WHAT???? And, yes, there were so many different scenarios where he could have left town and left the door open.
Soooo disapointing!

I thought it was great up until the point Irene had to talk for 40 minutes to explain it all. That was laborious. You’re right. Killing TSJ seemed like a waste. Now they have to resurrect him if he comes back. They should’ve hedged and left bis fate open and mysterious. Both actors have their fans. Murdering soap characters now seems like a copout. It’s more emotionally satisfying to see them just leave & wonder what is to become of them. Death has far less meaning to me anymore in the soap world.

So glad to hear from you!
As usual, you bring up many good points that I totally agree with, especially the part about Sam. There is no question that TSJ’s Todd is the father of Sam. What are they going to do with that?”
And I wholeheartedly agree that it was soooo unnecessary to describe Victor as “special.” I really didn’t understand why that needed to be said and, yes, I also agree that facets of RH’s version could fall under that category….especially the part about him not wanting to be touched.
The whole ending of TSJ as Todd is unfortunate on so many levels.

When I heard month’s ago that RH might return, I was afraid TSJ would get kicked to the curb. I loved to hate TSJ’s Todd, and he was Todd for so long I don’t remember RH’s Todd as much.

I didn’t see the need to kill TSJ off. What about Sam? I would’ve loved to see TSJ fight to get his son back from Blair, and Tea helping him to do so. Arrgghh! SO many potential storylines just gone.

And was it really necessary to not only make TSJ’s Todd brainwashed, but also described as “special”? WTH is that about? Based on some of the things RH’s Todd has done technically they’re both a little “special”!

Also agree that the writers trashed an excellent opportunity to showcase both brothers, especially since Tea stayed true to her feelings for the man she fell in love with (which I didn’t expect), and Jack & Dani didn’t write him off immediately. I can understand Starr having mixed feelings and reservations because she really knew, and loved, RH’s version.

Writers missed the mark on this one, if they’re over extended financially, there are many other characters they could’ve gotten rid of. I’m disappointed.

So well put, Crispy! I totally agree….So many lost possibilities. I, too, want Trevor back on OLTL and hope that Prospect Park brings him back to Llanview….Fingers crossed!
