[My friend, LuAnne Cobb, spent a weekend, going to the AMC & OLTL studios in New York City (Nov. 20) as well as attending a fan event in Staten Island (Nov. 21). Here's her recap and photos.]

My friend Linda, who I met at Super Soap Weekend a few years ago, picked me up [...]

Yesterday’s anniversary show wasn’t anywhere near what I was expecting, and that turned out to not be such a bad thing.
Interviewing the show’s characters in documentary style was a great way to not only fill in blanks on old and new characters and story lines, but also gave the show a modern feel. It [...]

Just watched the first half of All My Children’s 40th Anniversary special, and must admit I was a bit disappointed.
It was great to see Hayley (Kelly Ripa) and Mateo (Mark Consuelos) on my screen again. Ripa effortlessly stepped back into her character’s old pumps with ease, and it was hard to tell Hayley’s been [...]

Just read the great news that Chrishell Stause (Amanda Martin) agreed to remain in Pine Valley on a recurring basis. I was hoping for this since All My Children is moving to California soon.
Once Thorsten Kaye (Zach) leaves (or rather, when AMC leaves Kaye behind in NYC) there will be a hard-to-fill hole where [...]

By now, All My Children fans know that Charles Pratt Jr. has been fired as head writer.
Although I enjoyed some of Pratt’s stories, some will be forgettable for me.
The tornado special effects were awesome! Nice way to bring back Bianca, but why’d the baby have to be Zach’s?
Nothing Pratt could write will [...]
Have you seen the latest SOAPnet promo for the ABC soaps?
It’s many of the ABC daytime actors singing and mugging to “Jingle Bell Rock.”
It is so hysterical!
And I love that they have Bo and Nora dancing!
Check it out below!

I’m finally getting around to posting the photos from a fantastic event featuring some of “Daytimes Hottest Stars” in Largo, FL on Nov. 7.
It was so much fun meeting and interacting with Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery/AMC,) Vincent Irizarry (Dr. David Hayward/AMC) and Forbes March (former Nash Brennan/OLTL and Mason Jarvis/ATWT).
Bobbie Eakes (Krystal Carey/AMC) [...]

LOVED Adam calling Annie out on her games yesterday!
I must admit to being a big Annie (Melissa Claire Egan) fan ever since she turned to the dark side. Sweet Annie bored me to tears, and had she died some untimely soap opera death I wouldn’t have been mad.
But now I can’t imagine AMC [...]

I am SO disappointed … I want the strong willed Amanda Dillon who blackmailed JR and the Chandlers back on my screen!
I’ve always loved this character’s potential. Given her lineage (daughter of Trevor Dillon and Janet Green) this character was destined to be front burner. Even when she had no storyline, I rooted for [...]
Wasn’t that a wonderful acceptance speech given by Vincent Irizarry (Dr. David) on winning the Best Supporting Actor Emmy Sunday night?
He started off his speech with dedicating his award to his “beloved son Ash who is fighting our nation’s battles in the land of Afghanistan right now…To you, Ash, and to all your brave [...]
